Chapter Nineteen
Another Sunday had finally come and Keith was awake, getting prepared for church before Taylor had awakened. This was his third Sunday accompanying Taylor to church. He met the Pastor and immediately felt in his spirit that he was a true man of God, a man after Godâs own heart. The first Sunday that Keith went to Holy Temple Ministries, Pastor Matthews preached about the prodigal son and how God has a way of bringing those who have strayed, back to him. That Sunday Keith was moved by the Holy Spirit and he went down and rededicated his life to Christ. Pastor Matthews prophesied over him and it really touched him. Keith had never experienced worship like that. He felt as though God revealed so many things about his life to Pastor Matthews and it gave him confirmation about a lot of things in his life. After that, he and Taylor had gone to a couple of counseling sessions with the Pastor and his wife and he truly believed that this man and his wife were anointed.
Keith sat and watched Taylor as she slept peacefully. He thought about how they had been making love like newlyweds every since the night he poured his heart out to her. He leaned over, kissing her forehead softly.
Taylor stirred in her sleep and woke up to Keith staring at her. âWhat are you doing, Keith?ââ she asked while smiling at him.
âIâm getting ready to accompany my wife to church, but I was wondering if you wanted to show God how much we love each other before we get there,ââ he chuckled. He sat on the edge of the bed with nothing but a towel on. He leaned over and brushed his lips against hers. He pulled back the red satin sheet that covered her then traced her navel with the tips of his fingers.
As the tips of his fingers tickled her, she giggled. âTempting⦠I must admit, but we donât have time for all that,ââ she said.
âIâll be quick, I promise. Itâll only take a minute,ââ he assured her.
âKeith, you and I both know that you definitely canât be quick. Quick is not your style, honey. Letâs get ready to go and Iâll make it up to you tonight.â She kissed him again and rubbed his chest then his biceps.
âOkay, itâs your loss.ââ He got up, took his towel off, looked back, smiled and winked at her then headed to their walk-in closet.
Taylorâs eyes followed his naked body and she laughed then shook her head. Her husband knew exactly what he was doing and she wanted him right then and there, but she knew he would have them late, so she passed. She said her prayers and thanked God that her husband was now a man after His very heart. Keith had been reading his Bible daily and talking to Michael about different things he wanted to know about the Bible. He and Michael had become rather close, almost like brothers. Michael was someone that Keith looked up to as a man of God.
